  1. Good! How did you find out about it? Do you have a rss feed or have you googled it everyday? I have had some hard time to find a rss feed from microsoft that these have been available.

    1. @Capone,
Lol but yes its true. There is no RSS Feed from Microsoft for Cumulative Update for Business Central.

  2. CU4 has a serious Webservice problem!

    1. I Heard about it. Could you please add more details about the issue.

    2. I think that the issue is not as serious.... If you pubish a codeunit as SOAP, the functiosn should be declared as external to be used from a webService. If you are using AL code its isn't a problem, because all the functions that are not declared as local, are external by default:

    3. Oh i expected that coming. Its a change toward future not a bug.

MSDYN365BC - Data Upgrade To Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on premises.

Hi Readers, We have already talked about the number of steps for upgrading to Business Central on Premises from different NAV versions. After that article, I received multiple requests for an article which list down steps for Data Migration. In this article, we will discuss steps of data migration to MSDYN365BC (on-Prem) from NAV 2017. For this article, I am considering a Cronus Demo Database without any customization. For an actual upgrade project, we will have to complete object merge using compare and Merge process. After the Merge Process, the next step is data migration. Let's discuss those steps. Direct Upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (on-Prem) is from following versions - 1. NAV 2015. 2. NAV 2016. 3. NAV 2017. 4. NAV 2018.
