Business Value - 

  • Lower the entry bar by helping users understand how to use and be successful with a complex and comprehensive business solution.

Feature details -

  • Business Central have added Teaching Tip in past, which was completely extensible for partners and ISV.
  • But that's not all, with this release (#msdyn365bc 2022 Release Wave 1) Microsoft have extended how a partner can extend or add new Tooltip.
  • With these changes, it makes it easier for new users business central like, Hyperlinking to other pages and capability to Bold & Italics for text in tooltip. 

Implementation Details - 

  • To make a Text Bold in tooltip, place that text between - ** ____ **
  • To make a Text Italics in tooltip, please that text between - * ____*
  • To add a Hyperlink to a page in tooltip use- 
    •  [Text To Display] (?page=Page ID "Hyperlink Tooltip")
