Business Value -

The Report Selections for Jobs page lets users specify which report object will be used to print job quotes if you use the Jobs module to manage your projects.

Feature Details -

  • In Previous Release of Business Central Microsoft Added a New Report for Job Quote.
  • With This release based on an Idea from community microsoft extended Report selection to setup reports for Job Areas also.
  • With Business Central 20, Search for Report Selection - Job page and setup your Report ID's for Job Quote.
  • The default configuration will use report 1016 Job Quote, but you can change this default behavior.
  • I am optimistic that this feature will expand with other report options in menu and also having a possibility to use a Job Quote/Order report per customer like its available in customer and Vendor cards with Document Layout.
