While analyzing the latest cumulative update hotfix, I found out that Microsoft accepts that as a bug and added an platform Hotfix for same.

383560 - The Business Central Web client is missing Action icons.

What Does that Mean?

If you face this issue, then you can apply the cumulative Update like this -

  1. Uninstall all extensions in your database.
  2. Stop all Services mapped to database.
  3. Uninstall Old Version of NAV Client, Server & Web Server.
  4. Install Cumulative Update 20, NAV Client, Server & Web Server.
  5. Convert the Database using New Development Environment.
  6. Install all extensions in your database.
With all these steps the platform update will get completed and the missing icons will be visible in Modern client.

Hope you will able to fix the issue. Let me know your views as comment to this article.
