Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 - Work Description In Sales.

As we are discussing what's new in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017.

Today we will discuss so new changes that have been introduced in Sales Process.

In NAV 2017, Microsoft have added new field in Sales Area i.e Work Description, which help users to add details about the Sales Quote and Sales Invoice.

** In Standard NAV its on Sales Quote and Sales Invoice as Below, but you can add in other sales screen if required.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 Sales Invoice - 

The Technically its stored in a Text Variable which is now of unlimited length. Once we move focus out of the field (Field Validate is Called), at the backend it get stored in BLOB Field Work Description. When user opens the document the data from BLOB Field it transferred in the text field and get displayed to user.

Once we convert Quote to Order or Invoice and Posted the Work Description is transferred to the Posted Invoice as shown below.
