How to Import Text File In Developer Toolkit?

Hi all,

In Previous post we had seen

 A) How to install Navision developer Toolkit
 B) How to create developer toolkit databases.

Let's see how to import database objects into toolkit database.

1. Export all database objects in text format.
(Click all in object designer, select all and then click export and select file format as txt.)

2. Open Developer Toolkit.

3. Open Database created for Toolkit as per earlier post.

4. From File Menu select import. It will open a window as shown below.

5. Provide a code for all the objects from the database.

6. Click on Import Tab.

7. Select the file exported from Navision as text (step 1).

8. Click Import and import process will import all objects.

Remember - Developer Toolkit does not support - a)Pages & b)RDLC Layout.
