#msdyn365bc - 2023 Release Wave 2 - Show related record details from lookup.

HI Readers,

As Business Central 2023 Release Wave 2 Preview is announced. 

In this series we will discuss all features in detail. 

In this article we will discuss regarding - Show related record details from lookup.

With this feature -

  • It used to take multiple clicks to get to details about related records from lookup dialogs. 
  • Now, you can use the Show details action in lookup dialogs to quickly access information about related records on every page.
  • A list page will open if card page Id is not associated with Lookup and Drilldown page of table.
  • A Card page will open if card page Id is not associated with List Page.

NAV 2013 Upgrade Part III - Data Upgrading.

Hi all, As per agenda we need to discuss the data upgrade in NAV 2013. The process is similar to what used to be till NAV 2009 R2 but with some changes. Let's start the process. Remember -  1) You can only upgrade a database to NAV 2013 from NAV 2009 SP1 / R2 SQL Only. 2) The Synchronization of users with SQL Server is no more required.
