Hi Readers,

I hope in past few months everyone would have heard about breaking changes.

With Breaking changes there were so many questions in community and developers are little worried while writing code and how to keep future ready.

In this article, we will see a small feature that is introduced with Business Central 2021 Release Wave 1.

With this small feature added for developers will be easily identify these objects or fields which are getting removed in the future version of product.

With Business Central developers will be able to see objects / fields which are going to be removed in future as Striked off.

While trying to use a field that is already marked as obsolete, developer will be able to see a striked off as shown below.


A Similar behavior when you try to select an object as shown below.

NAV 2013 Upgrade Part III - Data Upgrading.

Hi all, As per agenda we need to discuss the data upgrade in NAV 2013. The process is similar to what used to be till NAV 2009 R2 but with some changes. Let's start the process. Remember -  1) You can only upgrade a database to NAV 2013 from NAV 2009 SP1 / R2 SQL Only. 2) The Synchronization of users with SQL Server is no more required.
