Download Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Release Wave 1 2021.

Hi Readers,

As Expected Microsoft have released #msdyn365bc 2021 wave 1 is available to download for on-prem. 

Business Central 2021, is already available for Sandbox creation and via dockers.

IN (India) is new localized version is available with 2021 wave 1 (V18).

This article provides details of the new release.

The 2021 release wave 1 for Business Central delivers a wealth of new features.

Dynamics NAV Customers upgrading to Business Central on Prem will be able to run business central on premises, move to cloud or choose a hybrid approach.

The 2021 Release Wave 1 is available for - 

  • W1 Version.
  • 22 Localized Version.

    I am one of your followers, Right now we are in Business central V13 and planned to move Business central V-18. I have gone through the forum and MS pdf and got a solution for upgrading v-18 we need to move v-13 to v-14 and v-14 to v-18. Could you please assist me with the procedure (steps) document to upgrade v-13 to v-18? There are no clear steps to proceed.
    Please help me with the document.

  2. Hi, is business central India version licences sold by Microsoft now.

    A customer in NAV 2013 R2 wants to upgrade to BC. Since they are an Indian customer, wanted to confirm whether BC India version licences can be purchase now and the implementation can be proceeded with now.

    1. As of Today there is no upgrade path for India Localization.
      Microsoft is still working on building the upgrade path but we can expect only after next release.
      For New License please check with Microsoft.

NAV 2013 Upgrade Part III - Data Upgrading.

Hi all, As per agenda we need to discuss the data upgrade in NAV 2013. The process is similar to what used to be till NAV 2009 R2 but with some changes. Let's start the process. Remember -  1) You can only upgrade a database to NAV 2013 from NAV 2009 SP1 / R2 SQL Only. 2) The Synchronization of users with SQL Server is no more required.
