Hi all,

In Last Week, Microsoft have released Best Practices Steps that we should follow during Upgrading a Database.

The Best Practices List the Steps while Upgrading a Database -

  • From NAV 2009 R2 to NAV 2015.
  • From NAV 2013 to NAV 2015.
  • From NAV 2013 R2 To NAV 2015.

Even if you are upgrading From NAV 2009 R2 to NAV 2013 / NAV 2013 R2 do read the Best Practices. The Article contain the points that we need to take care during Migration.

Please refer the Below Links From Microsoft Team Blog.
  1. Microsoft Team Blog Article 1.
  2. Microsoft Team Blog Article 2.
The Article talks about majority of the issues like -
  • Available Data Migration Toolkits.
  • Language Issues.
  • Dimension Issues.
  • Huge Database.
  • Synchronization Issues.
  • Collation Issues.
  • Data Conversion Issues.
  • Error Code 85132273.
