Navision 2013 Sharepoint Client Installation & Configuration Errors

Hi all,

While installing Sharepoint 2010 For Running Microsoft Dynamics 2013 Sharepoint client. During installation  Microsoft Sharepoint 2012 we get many errors.

I will be keep this post updated will all those errors and resolution for those errors. Currently i got below listed error so for now below is the error and resolution.



Error - Failed to Create Configuration Database



Cause of error -
The reason for the error is because our system don't have Windows Identity Foundation which is required for Sharepoint 2010.

Resolution-
Download and install Windows Identity Foundation from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17331#filelist

After installtion Run the configuration wizard again.

NAV 2013 Upgrade Part III - Data Upgrading.

Hi all, As per agenda we need to discuss the data upgrade in NAV 2013. The process is similar to what used to be till NAV 2009 R2 but with some changes. Let's start the process. Remember -  1) You can only upgrade a database to NAV 2013 from NAV 2009 SP1 / R2 SQL Only. 2) The Synchronization of users with SQL Server is no more required.
