Hi Readers, This is one of the common question that I keep on skipping for a while to write an article about how to export data in Business Central. The Process is similar but during the Upgrade or writing code we kind of used a function C/AL World CreateBookAndOpenExcel which is not supported with Business Central. The type or method 'CreateBookAndOpenExcel' cannot be used for 'Extension' development.AL(AL0296) In this article we will try to understand the whole export to excel process and find a replacement for CreateBookAndOpenExcel in SaaS World.

Hi Readers, In this article we will talk about one of the cool feature that is available with release of #msdyn365bc 2021 Release Wave 1 (a.k.a BC 18). AL Code was introduced from C/AL and with initial releases it was exactly same as C/AL Code. But with great community support and feedback to Microsoft, Microsoft is able to make it modern with new versions. If you are a regular reader then you would have noticed that I keep on saying that we need to unlearn NAV or C/AL  before we start working on AL. Hi Readers, I know I am super late writing about this.  If were not able to attend the Virtual Launch Event for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2021 Release Wave 1, then you will able to find some exciting changes that are announced during keynote. There are some exciting changes that are coming up in product starting May 1.  Microsoft is focusing on cloud first strategy and I am totally agree with the approach.
